Meeting at the University of Oregon, this local trio began playing together a year and a half ago-very much a part of the Eugene DIY scene. Their sound could be described as a mixture of Folk Punk, Garage Rock, and Doo-Wop.
The band is comprised of singer and guitarist Max Bien-Kahn, who leads the band with crunchy guitar rifts and unique vocal stylings. He is backed by the hard hitting rhythms of drummer Patrick Mac Kenzie and the melodic thumpings of bassist Sam Alexander. They are currently recording their debut CD, The Kids Eat Free EP, to be released at Sam Bonds on June 5th.
