The journey of, the Eugene, OR based trio, Yeltsin began in 2003 when longtime compadres Jacob Pavlak and Dana Axon began experimenting with singing and songwriting. Drummer Jivan Valpey joined the group creating “rock and pop in the vein of The Pixies or Pavement with catchy melodies and smart lyrics. Yeltsin’s new album A Closer Walk with Yeltsin is out on itunes, at Music Millenium East in Portland, House of Records & CD World in Eugene or via CD Baby.
