In order to reduce waste the Willamette Valley Music Fest is equipped to recycle or compost the following:
- bottles/cans
- paper plates + food boats
- napkins
- chopsticks
- foil/metal
- plastic bags
- glass
- beer cups
compostable cups
All beer will be served in compostable cups. Styrofoam is banned at the event.

art expo
The 2008 Willamette Valley Music Fest will feature an Art Expo. The exhibit will showcase BFA and MFA works by students from the University of Oregon Art Department. Works will represent a variety of mediums including painting, sculpture, multi-media, textiles, and digital arts.
